Tanya A. Paull

Realtor ®

Tanya’s love for this beautiful region will quickly rub off on you. As a transplant from the “city,” Tanya has first-hand experience with the joys and compromises of deciding to move to a rural area. She can walk you through each step of the process and what to consider. She can also tell you the best places to buy local food, taste wine, or go on a great hike. If you are considering selling your country property, Tanya’s attention to detail, from market analysis to photography, will give your property the best possible exposure. Since receiving her license in 2014, Tanya has become one of the top 5 real estate agents in Rappahannock County. She also works on Give Local Piedmont, is on the Headwaters Foundation Board, and organizes the wine tasting/cocktail hour for the annual Taste of Rappahannock.

Fun Facts

Horses are my Passion

An added bonus to being a Realtor is that the flexible schedule allows time for my equestrian interests. I'm glad to be able to get out fox hunting with the Thornton Hill Hounds or just take a morning off to squeeze in a trail ride. Exploring the Piedmont and observing the changes from one season to the next is just that much better from horseback.

Local Food Heaven

Besides being great country for riding, one of my favorite things about the area is the local food scene. We are spoiled for choices of farms where we can buy vegetables, fruit, eggs or meat directly from the farmer. Add to that many locally made things to eat or drink, several wineries, two breweries, a distillery, and even a craft cocktail bar, plus great restaurants, and you have local food heaven.

Bio-Geek

Before I escaped the "city" I was a stream ecologist for Fairfax County. I am at my happiest immersed in natural surroundings and with my hands in the dirt. Besides working in my large vegetable and flower gardens, I enjoy bird watching, observing insects and encouraging native plants. The Piedmont includes some of the most diverse habitats in North America so there is always something new and interesting to discover.

Tanya A. Paull

Tanya Paull was incredibly knowledgeable when she showed us what ended up being our dreams property and was able to answer a dizzying array of questions from us.  But she was superb in what ended up being a complex closing process.  When we discovered there was no road maintenance or use agreement among the owners along the private lane our property is on, Tanya worked tirelessly with the prior owner, us, legal counsel, and the other owners to develop and finalize a consensus agreement that both enabled us to close and has made life both easier and more harmonious for us and our neighbors.  Well done, Tanya!

Patient, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, experienced are just some of the words I will use to describe Tanya and her help with our purchase of a building lot in Rappahannock County.

We worked with Tanya for almost 6 months from start to finish and had a great experience.  Tanya has excellent communication skills and was very helpful with navigating the process of buying a building lot and performing the due diligence required to make sure that you can actually build on the lot.

We are very happy we had the opportunity to work with Tanya.

Our buyers agent was Tanya Paull—and she was amazing. She is knowledgeable, patient, and fiercely represented our best interests.
Tanya helped us understand the process, and she has even helped us past closing to integrate into the community. She is a great credit to your brokerage—and we loved working with her. She was amazingly available, communicative, professional, and made a wildly unmanageable process do-able. Thank you and your team! We will recommend you all to any and all people looking to buy in the Piedmont!
