Janet Clark, Real Estate Agent for Rappahannock and Surrounding Counties

Janet is a Realtor, business woman, mother of four children, active community volunteer and a long time Rappahannock County resident.

Janet became an agent 17 years ago when she worked with her mother-in-law Peggy Clark, a well-respected local broker and owner of Rappahannock Realty for more than 25 years. Janet learned the business at the hand of one of Rappahannock's most successful Realtors emulating her mother-in-law's enthusiasm, preparation and genuine desire to help her clients.

When Peggy Clark was forced to give up Rappahannock Realty due to failing health, Janet concentrated on her family, raising four children. She has been active Wakefield Country Day School's international program, placing and hosting exchange students from around the world. Janet and her husband, Dan have hosted foreign students for the past 11 years.

In 2001, Janet and Dan founded Clark Land Surveying. Dan does the actual surveying and Janet is responsible for the back office management. Under their leadership, Clark Land Surveying has become a thriving local business.

As her children grew and the survey business became well established, Janet decided to reenter the real estate business for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to put her business acumen and real estate experience to work. In 2008, Janet joined the prestigious Roy Wheeler Realty Co. in the Sperryville office.

In her spare time, Janet enjoys gardening, cooking and the joys of country living in Rappahannock County.
