Tanya A. Paull
Tanya’s love for this beautiful region will quickly rub off on you. As a transplant from the “city,” Tanya has first-hand experience with the joys and compromises of deciding to move to a rural area. She can walk you through each step of the process and what to consider. She can also tell you the best places to buy local food, taste wine, or go on a great hike. If you are considering selling your country property, Tanya’s attention to detail, from market analysis to photography, will give your property the best possible exposure. Since receiving her license in 2014, Tanya has become one of the top 5 real estate agents in Rappahannock County. She also works on Give Local Piedmont, is on the Headwaters Foundation Board, and organizes the wine tasting/cocktail hour for the annual Taste of Rappahannock.
Horses are my Passion
An added bonus to being a Realtor is that the flexible schedule allows time for my equestrian interests. I'm glad to be able to get out fox hunting with the Thornton Hill Hounds or just take a morning off to squeeze in a trail ride. Exploring the Piedmont and observing the changes from one season to the next is just that much better from horseback.
Local Food Heaven
Besides being great country for riding, one of my favorite things about the area is the local food scene. We are spoiled for choices of farms where we can buy vegetables, fruit, eggs or meat directly from the farmer. Add to that many locally made things to eat or drink, several wineries, two breweries, a distillery, and even a craft cocktail bar, plus great restaurants, and you have local food heaven.
Before I escaped the "city" I was a stream ecologist for Fairfax County. I am at my happiest immersed in natural surroundings and with my hands in the dirt. Besides working in my large vegetable and flower gardens, I enjoy bird watching, observing insects and encouraging native plants. The Piedmont includes some of the most diverse habitats in North America so there is always something new and interesting to discover.
Tanya A. Paull's Customers
Our buyers agent was Tanya Paull—and she was amazing. She is knowledgeable, patient, and fiercely represented our best interests.
Tanya helped us understand the process, and she has even helped us past closing to integrate into the community. She is a great credit to your brokerage—and we loved working with her. She was amazingly available, communicative, professional, and made a wildly unmanageable process do-able. Thank you and your team! We will recommend you all to any and all people looking to buy in the Piedmont!
We had quite an interesting journey with our home buying process, however our agent, Tanya, was a rock star during the entire process. We had some uncharacteristic issues with the mortgage company we decided to get our home loan through. Tanya was quick to respond to any of our concerns and went above and beyond the call of duty as a real estate agent. She was extremely knowledgeable of the community and was always prepared with a pair of hiking boots for some of the treks we had to make across some of the properties we viewed. Similarly, she was extremely knowledgeable of the home buying/selling process and was always prepared to respond to whatever obstacles we faced while trying to purchase our new home in Castleton. We absolutely love it out here and could not have made it without all of Tanya’s help!- Karissa and David E.
Thank you Tanya. You were absolutely great, helpful, knowledgeable, timely and every other adjective and adverb that makes for a great Realtor. And you can quote me on that!!- Matt R.
I wish to thank you and Tanya for all the fine work that you both did and the help that your company provided throughout the year-long sale process.- John P.
Thank you, Tanya, for providing superb support and service during our search for the perfect retirement location. You provided unpressured advice and recommendations to include searching in another’s coverage area. Your willingness to entertain our questions and to help us learn about the area was key to concluding our successful search. But beyond that, we were amazed by your efforts to help us work through all of the administrative issues associated with a successful and smooth closing. You really went beyond expectations from meeting us at site with little to no notice, identifying financing points of contact, arranging closing legal services, helping us establish our contract offer, and expertly coordinating with the seller to close the deal. And on top of all of that, it was a true pleasure to work with you thanks to your friendly and sincere personality. A true 5 star effort and we look forward to working with you again as we grow our orchard and farm.- Rory and Janey C.
